Posters, broadsides, pamphlets, announcements of meetings, and invitations of the Keneset Yiśraʼel and constituent or related organizations such as Ṿaʻad he-leʼumi, Asefat ha-nivḥarim, Otsar ha-yishuv, the Chief Rabbinate and a social work division, 1921-1944. The items in the collection describe the history and activities of these bodies. Topics covered include relations of the Jewish community with the British Government, the Arab population, and internal relations within the Jewish community. Posters of Jewish groups who objected to the Ṿaʻad ha-leʼumi as the formal representative of the Jewish community, such as Agudat Israel and ʻEdah ha-ḥaredit, are also included here.

Agudat Israel held its founding convention in Kattowitz in 1912. It is a Jewish organization which seeks to preserve Orthodoxy by adherence to halakhah as the principle governing Jewish life and society. Poʻale Agudat Yiśraʼel was founded in 1922 as a religious labor movement dedicated to building the Land of Israel according to the Torah.
